They ask about the car on Friday night. Hellu answers and books the test drive.

It answers by phone, email and chat with the car's own data, books test drives and workshop times, and hands the lead to the salesperson with customer, car and next step.

Kjærsgaard Auto

Customer: Hi, is the grey 2021 VW Golf still for sale?

Hellu: Yes, it's still here. It has done 48,000 km and costs DKK 219,900. Would you like to test drive it?

Customer: Saturday morning, if possible.

Hellu: I've booked a test drive for Saturday at 10 am and let Kim know. You'll get a confirmation by email.

What your customers ask

Answers on its own Passes it to you, with the whole conversation
  • “Is the car still for sale?” Looks the car up in your stock and answers with price, mileage and equipment.
  • “Can I test drive it on Saturday?” Books the test drive and lets the salesperson know.
  • “What would it cost a month?” Works out a monthly price for finance or leasing with your AutoDesktop calculator.
  • “My car needs a service. Any time next week?” Books the workshop slot.
  • “Is my car due for its inspection?” Looks it up and answers.
  • “What would you give me for my car?” Takes the plate and mileage and passes it to the salesperson.
  • “A warning light has come on.” Passes it to the workshop with the car and the symptom.
  • “I'd like to speak to Kim.” Puts them through to Kim, or asks Kim to call back.

Hellu

Kjærsgaard Auto, this is Sofie. How can I help?

Customer

My Peugeot needs a service. Do you have anything on Tuesday morning? The plate is CV 12 345.

Hellu

Tuesday at 7.30 am is free in the workshop. Shall I book it?

Customer

Yes please.

Hellu

You're booked for Tuesday at 7.30 am. You'll get a confirmation by text.

What you stop doing

Leaving leads waiting all weekend

Customer, car, wish and next step are gathered in one place, so Friday's leads are ready on Monday morning.

Ringing round to fill the workshop diary

Reminders about servicing, inspections and tyre changes book customers in, so the workshop stays booked.

Answering the same questions in sales

Questions about stock, price and finance are answered before they reach a salesperson, so sales can spend their time on test drives.

Systems it works with today

Hellu connects to the Danish dealer systems and portals AutoDesktop, AutoProff, Santander, Solgt.com, Bilbasen, Bilinfo and Synsbasen, so it answers with the car's own data. If your system is missing, we're happy to show you what it can do without it.

What it doesn't do

  • Doesn't promise a trade-in price before a salesperson has seen the car
  • Doesn't give discounts on its own
  • Doesn't diagnose faults

You pay when it solves something.

A dealership where Hellu resolves 500 enquiries a month on its own pays DKK 2,500 a month on Scale. If it answers your phone, the number and minutes are extra.

Questions

Does it work with AutoDesktop?

Yes. Hellu connects to AutoDesktop and answers with the car's own data from your stock: price, mileage and equipment.

Can we start with one branch?

Yes. Start with drafts for one branch's customer service, measure for a month, and roll out once the numbers hold up.

What about salespeople's own customers?

If a customer asks for a particular salesperson, they're put through, or the salesperson is asked to call back and gets the whole conversation.

Can it call customers?

Yes. It can call customers back and call them about servicing, inspections and tyre changes. You decide who it calls and what the call is about.

What if it doesn't know?

It tells the customer so and doesn't guess at price, equipment or delivery times. The question is saved and passed on to you, and once you've answered, it knows the next time.
